Now-former Carolina Panthers quarterback Will Grier may not have put up the most numbers throughout his seven-year NFL career. But it's clear, by the reactions to his retirement on Wednesday , that he did make a lot of memories and a lot of friends along the way.
Grier was officially placed on the reserve/retired list by the Panthers yesterday evening, a week before the team has been set to report to training camp. The 31-year-old passer would then make an announcement of his own via Instagram.
