Oregon Ducks' 2026 Spring Game: Highlights, live score, and analysis
Autzen Stadium was about three-quarters filled to see the annual Oregon Spring Game and unlike most seasons, it was a fairly quiet affair.
The defense on both sides of the ball dominated the offense for the most part. Fans should be excited to see what the Duck defense will throw out there next season and while the offenses struggled, there shouldn't be a reason for concern as Oregon has so much talent in every phase of the offense and the Ducks will score plenty of points.
One reason the offenses might have had trouble getting going was the no-tackle rule for some, especially the quarterbacks. It was touch football for a lot of the players. Both teams combined for 10 sacks.
It was nice to see quarterbacks Dante Moore and Dylan Raiola out there flinging the ball around and a huge bright spot was seeing receiver Evan Stewart playing well and being nearly unguardable. He finished with four catches for 110 yards and a touchdown, all in the first half.

This was a different Spring Game . We're used to seeing points on the scoreboard during these games, but the Ducks' defense was that good, even with the touch rule. Receivers had a hard time getting open, and the defensive lines were able to put pressure on the quarterbacks. That might be one concern. The offensive line might be a work in progress, and that was exploited this afternoon.
The most important thing is that there were no visible injuries, and Oregon was able to finish the game unscathed. Now the Ducks prepare for summer workouts before fall camp starts in early August.
Combat 17, Fighting 10 (Final)
That's the game, as the Combat Ducks offense made one more play than their opponent in a game where the defenses played extremely well. Oregon is going to have one of those stifling defenses next season that will give opponents nightmares in 2026.
Combat 17, Fighting 10 (0:20, 4th qtr)
Brock Thomas finds Dakorien Moore for a 60-yard touchdown to give the fans one more thrill before they exit Autzen Stadium.
Combat 10, Fighting 10 (6:00, 4th qtr)
Raiola came back in to try and muster up some kind of offense, but they could just get to midfield before going out on downs. The backup defensive players are in and still not letting up. It's a very good sign for the fall.
Combat 10, Fighting 10 (End 3rd qtr)
Both offenses ran into a buzzsaw of a defense as the Ducks are absolutely dominating on that side of the ball. Oregon fans can be excited to watch this group in 2026, but not to worry about the offense. There's plenty of talent to score a lot of points.
Combat 10, Fighting 10 (3:00, 3rd qtr)
Quarterback Mark Wiepert, a true freshman from Portland, came in and drove the Fighting Ducks to midfield before they had to punt.
Combat 10, Fighting 10 (9:00, 3rd qtr)
Both teams were forced to punt as the defenses are dominating right now.
Combat 10, Fighting 10 (Halftime)
Hurych hits a 45-yard field goal to tie the game at the halftime break. Both defenses have played well, but Stewart was the star of the first half with 110 yards receiving.
Combat 10, Fighting 7 (0:52, 2nd qtr)
Moore comes back into the game, but the defense holds their own and forces a punt.
Combat 10, Fighting 7 (1:44, 2nd qtr)
Hurych misses his second field from beyond 50 yards. He's got the leg. He just needs to work on that accuracy.
Combat 10, Fighting 7 (4:40, 2nd qtr)
Hurych nails it this time, a 35-yard field goal to give Combat the lead. Stewart made another big catch and he already has 91 yards receiving.
Combat 7, Fighting 7 (8:25, 2nd qtr)
Brock Thomas came back in and drove his team down to set up a 51-yard field goal attempt that Gage Hurych missed to the left.
Combat 7, Fighting 7 (1:00, 1st qtr)
Akili Smith, Jr. comes in at quarterback for the Combat Ducks, but was unable to get a first down.
Combat 7, Fighting 7 (4:00, 1st qtr)
Dylan Raiola hits Stewart on the run for a 76-yard touchdown. Stewart looks completely healthy, something other Big Ten teams don't want to hear.
Combat 7, Fighting 0 (6:35, 1st qtr)
As expected, Dante Moore leads the Combat Ducks down the field and finds tight end Jamari Johnson in the back of the end zone for the touchdown. We're going to see that connection a lot this season.
Combat Ducks (Black) 0, Fighting Ducks 0 (White) (12:25, 1 qrt)
Brock Thomas hit Evan Stewart on a nice pass over the middle, but that was all.
