The Patriots ' 10-game win streak is over after they fell to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon.
For Drake Maye , he’s looking forward to responding to the loss in Week 16 against the Baltimore Ravens.
“Long stretch where we were feeling good about ourselves,” Maye said after New England’s loss. “Its a chance for us to respond from losing to a good team. ... Looking forward to getting our chance next Sunday.”
The loss also meant the Patriots didn’t clinch the AFC East. But Maye knows what needs to be done going into the primetime Sunday night game.
“Don’t let it beat you twice,” Maye said. “Move onto the next week, learn from it, take what we can and know that we got some football ahead of us that’s still very important. Don’t just hang our hat and keep our head up. We know we had a chance, we’re there, they just made more plays.”
Maye had a strong first half that included two rushing touchdowns and helped the Patriots take a 21-point lead into halftime . But Josh Allen and the Bills were able to erase the deficit and come out of Gillette with a win and their AFC East championship hopes still alive.
