The Los Angeles Rams have been taking part in offseason workouts recently as they gear up for the upcoming 2026 NFL season. The Rams are hoping to build on the success of last year, which resulted in an appearance in the NFC Championship Game, where they lost to the eventual Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks.
The Rams have made multiple splashy trades this offseason, headlined by their deal with the Cleveland Browns to acquire Myles Garrett , but also including a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs to bring in star cornerback Trent McDuffie .
Recently, McDuffie got high praise from an NFL evaluator.

"One of the top coverage corners in the league," an NFC scout said, per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. "He can cover in the perimeter or the slot, can play man or zone, can pressure the quarterback, can play Cover 2 well and can jam and re-route. [He] has plus zone vision."
Indeed, McDuffie has established himself as one of the game's top cornerbacks in his relatively young NFL career, which made it all the more surprising that the Rams were able to pry him from the Chiefs in a deal toward the beginning of the current offseason.
Seasons don't get much more "championship or bust" than the one the Rams are about to embark on, with Matthew Stafford coming off his MVP campaign, Puka Nacua looking like arguably the game's best wide receiver, and Garrett and McDuffie headlining the revamped Los Angeles defense, which was beat up by the Seahawks in the playoffs last year.
The Rams are scheduled to get their 2026 season underway on September 10 with a marquee home game against the San Francisco 49ers .
