The Los Angeles Rams completely shattered the NFL landscape by executing a jaw-dropping blockbuster trade for Cleveland Browns superstar pass rusher Myles Garrett . While the trade alone immediately made LA the betting favorite to win the Super Bowl, it triggered an even bigger shockwave: the very real possibility of future Hall of Fame defensive tackle Aaron Donald coming out of retirement.

Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III perfectly captured the sheer terror this potential duo would inflict on the rest of the league. Taking to X, RGIII explained exactly why a Garrett and Donald pairing would be flat-out "unstoppable."
" Myles Garrett and Aaron Donald on the same defensive line will destroy every offensive coordinator's game plan," Griffin posted. "Both are game wreckers. Can't block them 1 on 1. Can't double them both. Both give relentless effort. They will be unstoppable."
It is hard to argue with that logic. Garrett is coming off a legendary season where he captured his second NFL Defensive Player of the Year award, setting the single-season record with a staggering 23 sacks. The Rams paid a hefty king's ransom to land him, shipping edge rusher Jared Verse , a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick, and a 2029 third-round pick to the Browns.
The transaction caught Donald's attention immediately. Though he walked away from the game after the 2023 season, a year where he still racked up eight sacks and his eighth first-team All-Pro nod, the legendary interior defender admitted the Garrett trade has him thinking about a comeback. In a text to Pat McAfee, Donald revealed, "It for sure got me thinking. 35, removed two years ago, gotta see if that fire can light back up."

If Donald decides to lace up his cleats again, the football world will witness the most terrifying defensive front in modern history. Good luck to any offensive coordinator trying to game-plan for that.
