- Top NFL Insider Believes Aaron Donald Will Play For Los Angeles Rams Again
Last week, the Los Angeles Rams shocked the world by trading for Myles Garrett . The blockbuster trade didn't just catapult an already good Rams team from contenders to the Super Bowl favorites; some believe it could start an "arms race" in the NFL. It also piqued Aaron Donald's interest , who hasn't played since the end of the 2023 NFL season.
Donald, a surefire first-ballot Hall of Famer, has admitted he's given the idea of coming out of retirement some thought. After all, the opportunity to join another fellow future Hall of Famer on the same defensive line doesn't come often, especially when it includes a chance to double his Super Bowl ring count, while playing for his old, beloved head coach again.

Some have been skeptical of the comeback conversation regarding Donald. Does the 35-year-old still have what it takes to compete against the NFL's best? He might be falling in love with the idea.

Recently, ESPN's NFL insider Adam Schefter asserted that it's "more likely than not" that Donald will play for the Rams in 2026.
" Aaron Donald would get to play with Myles Garrett , the fact that the Super Bowl is in LA this year… I just think the ingredients are there to make it happen."
Donald has a rare opportunity ahead of him, and Garrett, plus coach Sean McVay, have been more than welcoming if he decides to play again. Fitting the three-time Defensive Player of the Year under the Rams' salary cap could present its own challenges, but if this group is really serious about a reunion, there are ways to get the job done.
