The Minnesota Vikings are set to host the Washington Commanders on Sunday . Kevin O'Connell's team comes in as 1.5 point underdogs after news that Jayden Daniels will return to the starting lineup.
Saturday saw the Vikings make a couple of moves to adjust the active roster ahead of Week 14. One key area of question remains the offensive line. Thankfully with J.J. McCarthy back under center , he should have his blindside blocker.
Christian Darrisaw expected to play for Minnesota Vikings
Prior to the availability report, the only question with Friday's injury report surrounded the offensive line . Christian Darrisaw and Donovan Jackson have both missed time this year . With McCarthy expected to be back under center, a quality offensive line will give him the best chance to succeed. Thankfully, he'll have his blindside blocker.

It always seemed like Darrisaw would play Sunday. Earlier this week head coach Kevin O'Connell suggested that the Minnesota Vikings would have their starting left tackle.
With Ian Rapoport's report suggesting Darrisaw is good to go, the Vikings will only be waiting to figure out the status of Jackson. Both Darrisaw and Jackson have played just nine games this season. Kwesi Adofo-Mensah drafted the rookie guard with the expectation that he could solidify the interior of Minnesota's offensive line.
There have been high points for Jackson , but he has largely left plenty to be desired. The Vikings can't afford any more lackluster outcomes from quarterback J.J. McCarthy, and the offensive line has to give him a chance to compete.
Draft compensation is where Minnesota should be focused , but a healthy group ahead of McCarthy will give the team their best chance to evaluate the future of their quarterback position.
