The 2026 NBA Draft is scheduled to begin on June 23, and it's still a bit unclear what the Golden State Warriors plan to do with the No. 11 pick overall. While the club is heavy in the rumor mill, rival teams are guessing what the front office plans to do in the draft, with Stephen Curry very much in consideration.

In Jeremy Woo's latest mock draft for ESPN, he claims that the Warriors' rivals believe the franchise will target a player in the draft who can contribute immediately . With the 38-year-old guard still vying for a title, a polished prospect instead of a project may be the route the team goes in the draft.
"Rival teams believe the Warriors are after a player who can contribute to the rotation next season — as they work to maximize their chances in the final stretch of Stephen Curry 's career — but will take a best-available positional approach."
Woo mocks the Warriors drafting Michigan Wolverines center Aday Mara with the No. 11 pick overall. The 7-foot-3 center took a major jump in development in his first year at Michigan, and he is gaining plenty of attention in the NBA Draft as one of the top center prospects this offseason.
"Mara is expected to be the first center off the board and appears slated for the 8-to-12 range," said Woo. "There is strong interest in him, with Atlanta , Dallas , Golden State, and Oklahoma City among the teams noted, and he could ultimately be a player teams trade up to acquire.

"Mara has been a steady riser with an outlier-level mix of size, coordination, and skill as a true 7-footer that is extremely difficult to find," continued Woo… "Mara's sheer size and ability to manipulate defenses with the pass make him fascinating to many teams."
Aday Mara very well could be the pick at No. 11 for Golden State, considering he is one of the most pro-ready prospects in this year's draft class. However, he is not the only option on the table for the Warriors , as ClutchPoints' insider Brett Siegel has the franchise selecting Baylor guard Cameron Carr in his 2026 NBA Mock Draft 3.0.
