Cincinnati Bengals receiver Ja'Marr Chase tied the team's single-season record for touchdown receptions during the first quarter of Saturday night's NFL Week 18 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium.
Chase's 17th TD catch of the season came on a 12-yard pass from quarterback Joe Burrow . Carl Pickens set the franchise single-season record for TD receptions with 17 in 1995.

Chase entered Week 18 leading the NFL in receptions, receiving yards and touchdown catches, and increased his leads in each of those categories.
During the third quarter of a Week 17 win against Denver , Chase broke TJ Houshmandzadeh's franchise single-season record for receptions (set in 2007) with his 113th.
During a Week 16 win against Cleveland , Chase broke his own team record for single-season receiving yards on an 11-yard catch from Burrow.
Against Denver, Burrow broke his own franchise record for passing yards in a season and became the 11th quarterback in NFL history with at least 40 touchdown passes in a season.
