CBS NFL analyst and former Houston Texans and Arizona Cardinals defensive end JJ Watt said Sunday that he can't believe the Cincinnati Bengals are not an NFL playoff team , given the remarkable statistical seasons quarterback Joe Burrow , receiver Ja'Marr Chase and defensive end Trey Hendrickson enjoyed.
"This blows my mind," Watt said on CBS. "The Bengals currently have the NFL leader in pass yards, rec yards and sacks. A team with all three of those should never miss the playoffs."

Chase won the receiving triple crown , becoming the fifth NFL receiver since 1970 and first-ever Bengal to lead the league in catches, receiving yards and touchdown catches.

Quarterback Joe Burrow led the NFL in passing yards and touchdown passes.
And defensive end Trey Hendrickson won his first NFL sacks title , boosting his season total to 17.5 with 3.5 Saturday night against the Steelers .
