The Miami Marlins placed outfielder Griffin Conine on the 10-day injured list Friday with a tear in his left hamstring. Infielder Deyvison De Los Santos was recalled Friday from Triple-A Jacksonville ahead of a weekend series at Detroit — his second stint in the big leagues this year after he made his major league debut March 29 against Colorado. Conine exited in the sixth inning of an 8-1 home victory against Cincinnati on Thursday with left knee discomfort after an unsuccessful diving catch attempt on a sinking fly ball hit by Spencer Steer.

Griffin Conine and Connor Norby homered to lead the Miami Marlins past the Cincinnati Reds 7-4 on Wednesday night. Xavier Edwards and Jakob Marsee each had two hits and an RBI for the Marlins, who snapped Cincinnati's five-game winning streak. Miami starter Eury Pérez (1-1) allowed four runs — two earned — and six hits over five innings.

Griffin Conine hit a two-run home run in the eighth inning, and the Miami Marlins scored four runs in the fourth in a 9-2 win over the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday night. The Marlins, who were hitless in the first three innings, got their first hit in the fourth when Xavier Edwards singled off starter Erick Fedde (0-1). Agustín Ramírez doubled, then Liam Hicks sent them both home with a hit deep down the first baseline.
