The Mountaineers, led by senior guard Honor Huff's 38 points, defeated Oklahoma in overtime, 89-82, to capture the College Basketball Crown event Sunday.

Honor Huff made eight 3-pointers and scored a career-high 38 to propel West Virginia to an 89-82 overtime victory over Oklahoma on Sunday in the championship game of the College Basketball Crown Tournament. The senior guard teamed up with Jasper Floyd to do all the scoring in a game-ending 13-0 run for the Mountaineers (21-14) after spotting the Sooners (21-16) the first six points in OT. Floyd missed his first eight shots before sinking 3-pointers on both sides of one by Huff in a 9-0 run that gave West Virginia the lead for good at 85-82.

Honor Huff scored 24 points and West Virginia finished off a season sweep of UCF with a 77-62 victory on Friday night to close out the Big 12 Conference regular season. Huff made 4 of 14 from 3-point range and all 10 of his free throws for the Mountaineers (18-13, 9-9), who posted a 74-67 victory over UCF on Feb. 14. Brenen Lorient missed just one shot and scored 14.

Huff scored 11 points in a row amid a 16-2 rally midway through the second half that gave the Mountaineers (15-8, 6-4 Big 12) a 42-40 edge. He also made two free throws down the stretch to keep WVU in the lead, and was 5-for-11 from the field and 3-for-8 from deep.
