Ex-Kansas player Jamari McDowell is headed to Wake Forest after spending three years with the Jayhawks.

Darryn Peterson and the Kansas Jayhawks did not end the 2025-26 college basketball season how they had hoped. After falling short in the Big 12 Tournament and finishing with a 23-10 regular-season record, Kansas earned the No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament. While the Jayhawks may have fallen short of expectations, Peterson did not.
