A former Northwestern Wildcats defensive end is getting the NFL call via the ascendant Chicago Bears.

The Dallas Cowboys‘ defensive line depth just took another hit, as a promising tackle is heading to an AFC rival. Earnest Brown has signed with the Tennessee Titans.

The Titans signed defensive end Earnest Brown as well as offensive tackle Ryan Hayes on Tuesday.

While quarterback Dak Prescott led one of the top offenses in the league, a majority of Dallas’ problems stemmed from the defensive side of the ball. The unit allowed 377 total yards per game, 251.5 passing yards and 30.1 points per game, all ranking among the bottom three in the NFL. Earnest Brown IV spent four seasons playing college football with the Northwestern Wildcats before he was selected by the Los Angeles Rams with the No. 174 pick in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
