AHL All-Star forward Matvei Gridin and defenceman Hunter Brzustewicz have been recalled by the Calgary Flames from their AHL affiliate team, the Calgary Wranglers.

The Calgary Flames have reassigned defenceman Hunter Brzustewicz and forward Matvei Gridin to the AHL’s Calgary Wranglers, the team announced Wednesday, following Calgary’s 4–3 victory over the Edmonton Oilers.

For a rookie stepping into just his second career NHL game, Hunter Brzustewicz didn’t look like someone feeling things out. He looked like someone quietly, confidently taking everything in stride.
