The Vegas Golden Knights survived one of the wildest games in Stanley Cup Final history, beating the Carolina Hurricanes 5-4 in double overtime to take a 2-1 series lead. Mitch Marner set an NHL record with a natural hat trick in just six minutes and ten seconds, but Vegas blew a 4-0 lead as Carolina scored three goals in 39 seconds — the fastest three-goal stretch in Final history — before Andrei Svechnikov tied it late. Shea Theodore, who earlier airmailed a puck into the stands for a penalty, redeemed himself with the game-winner after 39 minutes of ice time. Game 4 is Tuesday in Las Vegas.
