Tough news for the former SHL forward.

After a pair of 6-1 victories over the Calgary Flames, and a tight 3-1 loss to the Edmonton Oilers, the Seattle Kraken were blown out by the Vegas Golden Knights in a 6-2 loss on Tuesday night.

Former Avalanche forward Victor Olofsson is lighting it up since returning to Vegas, scoring two goals and three points in his first three games.

Former Avalanche forward Victor Olofsson has returned to the Vegas Golden Knights after a whirlwind year that took him from Colorado to Calgary and ultimately back to the city he says he is “happy to be” in again.

When the Vegas Golden Knights traded two-time leading goal scorer Pavel Dorofeyev to the New York Rangers, they knew they would have to replace his production. Because they aren’t exactly flush with cash— which is part of the reason they traded Dorofeyev in the first place— finding a flashy replacement just wasn’t in the cards.

Former Avalanche winger Victor Olofsson is back in familiar territory, rejoining the Vegas Golden Knights after a Colorado stint as the club looks to rekindle his power-play scoring touch.

A quiet but effective stint in Calgary has already made the argument for Victor Olofsson’s return this offseason, with his scoring touch and low-cost upside standing out in a rising cap environment.
