Brian Schottenheimer's 'grab bag' of offensive ideas makes the Cowboys offense dangerous

And I think just because he's his own thing, Sean Heimer runs the greatest hits offense.
It's a little bit of everything.
It's, has some West Coast principles.
It's, old school, what I would call traditional NFL stuff.
It's some Dak Prescott stuff that he likes, which is really Scott Linehan stuff, which is really Mike Tight stuff, which is really Brian Billick stuff, which is really Denny Green stuff.
so like old school stuff.
it, it's just He knows how to get the most out of his guys.
Guys are all It's very sound, the scheme, and maybe that's because it is greatest hits, so it's all been distilled down.
There's some interesting twists where I can tell he's looking around the league to drop some stuff on.
I, I'll bring up the example of the, the swing screen off of their chip block.
Like I, I can tell who's watching the league is who's running that because I think more teams should use that.
Just, it's just an example of how you can kind of just add a twist to like some staples.
I think the use of tempo, he's able to change it, and I think the, the smarter play callers are leaning in towards that, and I think he will.
Be, it's maybe just because he is such a grab bag, that's why I like it, but it's all sound to me.
And yes, I will admit, Clayton Adams run game and how well the offensive line played does You know, there is a part of that, that, that has to get weighed here because Adams is legit.
And, now I've seen in two spots how legit his stuff is.
But man, he's just really earned a lot of my respect, Sean Heimer.
I'm extremely high on this offense.
Last year, we haven't done our top 10 offensive show, but I did Mina's last week, and Adams was my number one, like them and the Rams.
And it's just, I keep trying to talk myself away from it, and I just keep coming back.
There's stats, there's philosophy, the personnel of it all, but I just like the scheme.
It's got enough old school stuff and new wrinkles, and I think the old school stuff is good because I think that's actually what's giving these modern defenses some issues.
Or I, I, you can get some advantages from going old school in some ways.
When I say old school, I see, I, I mean like concepts like 99.
There's some, you know, fullback looks that he uses, straight dropback stuff, just a little mixture of some vertical concepts.
So I'm a little shocked by this, and I can get into the other kind of shortlist I have here, but man, I, I'm, he's really won me over, Brian, Sean Heimer.
