Just- Nice the fallen quarterback.
Um- I like it that, I mean, 'cause I really feel like one of these players from round eight, one of these passers from Brock Purdy, Patrick Mahomes, or Bo Nix is gonna be available in round nine in your home leagues.
My favorite one of those picks is Brock Purdy.
I mean, I'll stack him here with George Kittle, and maybe stack him with a player we're gonna name a bit later on too.
Mm-hmm.
I understand that the 49ers had the easiest schedule in the NFL last year, but it's not like Brock Purdy had it easy, you know?
Beat up offensive line- Mm-hmm beat up skill room.
He was beat up himself.
He played, what, eight or nine games?
He still finished as the quarterback five in points per game after that.
This offense, because of Kyle Shanahan, is always going to have a high success rate.
They're always gonna have big points per drive, and Purdy throws the ball down the field.
Like, I hope everyone understands this, right?
He completed a league-high 61% of his throws 10 or more yards down the field, and that is not the first time he's led the NFL in that stat or been, I think, three times now so far he's been top two in that mark.
So I understand that Brock Purdy is never going to be selected higher than the quarterback 12, basically, because you have phenoms and gazelles and prototypes that you can draft much, much higher than that.
But, in this system, and attached to Kyle Shanahan, like we just saw, when Brock Purdy's on the field, he can finish as a top five or six quarterback for you in Fantasy.
