It's kind of unbelievable.

The Chicago Bears as a franchise have never had a quarterback who has thrown for 4,000 yards, and Caleb Williams is at 3,730.

Quick math would mean he needs 270 yards.

Uh, he's been under 220 yards in eight games this season.

He's only gone over 270 in four games.

Obviously, you also have the Ben Johnson angle, the Bears going to the playoffs, his former team, the Lions, not going to the playoffs.

And I think I'm also interested in kinda how the Lions look, right?

We've seen this team the last few years.

Dan, uh, Campbell had that quote, right, when they lost to the 49ers in that NFC Championship game, "You're never really sure if you're going to get back."

We don't know the Lions won't get back, but in these past couple years, they've always been playing for something basically every single game.

It is the first game under him they really have nothing to play for except pride and maybe to stick it to the Bears a little bit.

So I'm curious to see what this game looks like if it evolves and the Bears get a lead.

Do...

Instead of running the ball, which obviously the Bears are very good at, do they have some extra passes in there for Caleb Williams to try and get over that number and stick it to Ben Johnson a little bit potentially in a victory?

So is that one way the game goes?

I'm just... An interesting one to watch in a game where otherwise there's not that much on the line.

Obviously, the Bears could have a little better seating in the NFC Playoff picture.

Mm-hmm.

Yeah, so i- if I could just button that up here.

So Caleb Williams is at 3,730, Ben, as you said.

He is 108 away from the franchise single-season record.
