Carmelo Anthony's comments on Jayson Tatum's return

Kevin O'Connor on Carmelo's comments surrounding Jayson Tatum's return. (via The Kevin O'Connor Show)

Video Transcript

It is ridiculous that this career loser, underachiever, who's never won anything, is talking about Jayson Tatum, what he needs to do to sacrifice.

Carmelo Anthony was talking about Tatum's return, and he said, "JT's gotta be very mature about the situation.

There's no egos, there's no pride.

We get a chance to come back and win a champ- a championship, so just let me put my pride and my ego to the side for these next three months and continue to let JB steer the ship, 'cause he's proven that he's doing it at an MVP level."

It is so funny and so ironic to hear Carmelo Anthony talking about what Jayson Tatum needs to do to win basketball games.

Tatum wins an NBA Finals where he's not even scoring.

He is a do-it-all talent who doesn't need to get buckets to make a positive impact, unlike Carmelo Anthony, who, when he wasn't scoring from mid-range on his low-efficiency jump shots, wasn't making a positive impact, and that's why his teams always flamed out.

That's why they didn't win a lot.

I just found it crazy
