The team that I am most interested to see what they do here is Atlanta, because of the fact they have that super first, the first-round pick, the most favorable of New Orleans, and yep, Milwaukee Bucks, in this upcoming draft.
And I think that, with Jalen Johnson and other picks that Atlanta has, I think that could be the biggest swing factor in these trade talks.
If I'm the Hawks, and this is the thing, if you get Giannis, if you plug him onto your team, you're still not obviously contenders.
Giannis only has a year and a half left.
He's been dealing with calf injuries all year.
He's on the wrong side of 30 years old.
He's a tough guy to build around.
I'm not giving up a, a two-thirds chance of landing a top four pick in a historic draft, potentially.
I don't think the Hawks, unless they have a second move ready to go get another star, I wouldn't go for Giannis.
I think Atlanta, a team like that, I'm not, like, doing cartwheels at the opportunity to go get Giannis.
