From week 11 on, I mean, it was the Cole Kiffin Loveland show.
Among tight ends from week 11 on- Yeah he's targeted on 25% of his routes, which was sixth most, fourth most in yards per route run.
And then you go to the playoffs, the guy runs a route on 77% of the dropbacks and is targeted on 33% of those routes- Yeah 2.57 yards per route run.
Like, this guy is a star.
Out wide on 17% of his snaps in the postseason, in the slot on 24%.
Like, he is a credible split him out wide, isolate him- Yeah do all these things with, which is why I think, yeah, football sickos like us prefer Cole Kiffin Loveland, you know, kinda compared to some of these other types.
But I mean, even still, that's why I have him as a tier one player, and that's honestly why I don't end up with a lot of Trey McBride, 'cause I think that Cole Kiffin Loveland could straight up just be the tight end one overall this year.
I think he could be a top- Yep two scorer at the position, and he, to me, is closer to the top two than the fourth, player.
Now, I have some, I have some worries, with Cole Kiffin Loveland, which is just like if Rome Odunze really breaks out and Luther Burton really breaks out- Yeah does it get a little too crowded?
Like, he's probably the one, although Trey McBride I think is maybe susceptible to this, but just 'cause I think both these two receivers are still ascending, he's probably the one of the top three guys that is most at risk w- wouldn't you agree, of like being the third targeted player on his team?
I don't think it happens, but he's probably a risk of it just 'cause we've got two young ascending receivers here.
In, in the weirdest way, I also though, with Loveland, is that I feel safest about him, with, of those, that trio, all talented, all guys I like- Yes is because- I agree with that I s- know his role.
Like I, I know- Right what he gets, and I know where the, how the coaches feel about him.
Because- Mm-hmm with Odunze and Burton, we, I mean, we go back and forth on this, not me and you, but just like everybody does.
It's like, well, who's their guy?
Well, last year it was Odunze, now they have Burton.
Is, are they Burton people now?
But they talked about Odunze being the X.
This, but Burton was doing this and getting that desire play.
I just know Loveland in the playoffs was getting, when on the sail concept, which means there's a sail route, so you kinda know who the primary is on a sail concept, Loveland was getting the sail route called for him.
So it's kind of for me that the floor of him is very high, but also that, like you mentioned, he could end up a tight end one.
