We're joined now by Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean, who's here on behalf of Casey's.

A year ago right now, you're trying to figure out how to be a pro in the NFL, right?

\n

How long did it take you to sort of get your footing in that defensive scheme?

\n

Yeah, it took me a little bit.

\n

Um, anytime, you know, you're trying to learn a new defense, it takes a little bit to, um, you know, learn and get comfortable, um, playing the different techniques and different coverages that the defense, um, brings, um, you know, but he's done a great job of coaching it and, and teaching it, you know, he does a good job of holding people accountable.

\n

Uh, when they're not doing their job, and, and that's cool to see.

\n

He's a really old school coach, um, which I love.

\n

Um, he coaches us hard and expects the best out of us each and every day.

\n

We work together and we're able to play off of each other, um, within the defense, um, which has been really cool to see and, and how, once everybody got comfortable, um, got comfortable in, in our defense, you know, after that bye week.

\n

Um, you know, it seemed like everything just started to click and, and we started playing so well together.

\n

Uh, everybody was playing off of each other.

\n

Um, you know, I think a good picture of that is that pick 6, you know, you see guys just matching matching their coverage and, you know, me playing off of Amon and able to fall back inside and make that interception, but, you know, that doesn't happen, you know, without Um, you know, our defensive line in those two sacks, you know, on the two previous plays, um, and then forcing them to do a rollout, um, type pass and, um, I was able to step in front of it.

\n

So I think it's just the way our, our guys play off of each other and um we're so well, well connected with our defense.

\n

Um, it's awesome.

\n

So you went to Iowa, you're from Iowa.

\n

You're wearing the Casey's pizza hoodie of over 500 Casey's in Iowa.

\n

Tell everybody what you're up to at Casey's and kind of what, uh, what your love of them comes from.

\n

Yeah, it's a cool partnership for me, um, just growing up in Iowa, um, you know, Casey's being a huge part of, of really the whole Midwest.

\n

Um, you know, I went to Casey's, you know, when I was in high school, um.

\n

Probably five times a week, um, at least, um, just to, whether you're getting snacks before school, getting some breakfast pizza before school, um, you know, whatever it may be.

\n

Um, you know, I was, I was always going, going to Casey's to see what they had, um, you know, and it's a really cool partnership for me, um, just 'cause I've, I've grown up going there, um, you know, and if you're looking to tailgate for a noon kickoff this year, Casey's is the place to go, um, for your breakfast pizza to get you ready to roll for those noon kickoffs.

\n

Um, you got those early morning tailgates.

\n

All you gotta do is pop into Casey's, grab you some breakfast pizza, you'll be ready to go.

\n

What's on the perfect breakfast pizza, brother?

\n

I'm a pretty, I'm a pretty plain guy when it comes to um my pizza toppings.

\n

Um, I usually, my favorite sausage, sausage, egg and cheese, um, that's probably my go to um breakfast pizza, you know, but they don't just, they got a lot, they got a lot of different pieces.

\n

They got, I mean, supreme, they got cheese, pepperoni, um, it's hard to find a bad pizza when you go when you go to Casey's, it's always fresh and ready to go, which is, which is what I love.

\n

Well, what I know is Casey's is home of the official pizza noon kickoffs, which if you love Big Ten football, you'll see plenty of my friend, good luck this season.

\n

Congratulations on the Super Bowl championship you already have.

\n

Can't wait to watch it kick butt this season.

\n
