On Thanksgiving Day 2012, in front of a sold out MetLife Stadium and primetime viewers Thanksgiving audience of 20 million viewers, Jets quarterback Mark Snchez slammed into the cheeks of his teammate, thus creating a butt fumble, a play that will go down in history.

The play occurred in a disastrous sequence in the 2nd quarter versus the division rival Patriots, where the Jets lost three fumbles, and Patriots scored three touchdowns in the span of 52 seconds of game time.
Patriots fans were eating well that Thanksgiving, and the Jets were the butt Of the joke ever since.
