Mitchell Robinson's a free agent this summer, and he very well could be a guy who walks.
Don't know if that's gonna happen, but if it's gonna happen, well, Jayden Quaintance would be, the perfect replacement for Mitchell Robinson.
At 6'9" with a 7'5" wingspan, the dude has a very, very similar type of game with his athleticism, constant lob threat.
And if you remember way back, way back when Mitchell Robinson entered the NBA in the late 2010s, there was some pre-draft workout tape of him handling the ball, and it was like, "Oh my God, is Mitchell Robinson gonna be a shot creator?"
No.
The answer was no.
That does not happen.
But with Jayden Quaintance, we did see some of the flashes in his two years at, in college at Arizona State and then at Kentucky with some of the open floor creation.
So there might be something there.
There's a reason why he was considered a top 10 guy before.
It just-- the, the torn ACL, the meniscus tear, and everything else, it's unfortunate those injuries have sapped him a little bit of that athleticism.
But if he can get that back, Quaintance absolutely has a chance to be a major steal in the NBA draft.
