Why don't we start with, Morgan Rogers, who was a name linked to, my favorite club, Arsenal, but he goes to Chelsea for 117 million pounds.
I, I don't wanna be pocket watching and all this stuff, but where the hell does- Man Chelsea get the nerve?
I was like- Why isn't it Cooligans brought to you by BlueCo?
Why are they not a sponsor on this show if you got that kind of money?
It's, but it's every, ever since, Boehly took over Chelsea- Mm-hmm and everybody sort of, you know, was worried about the club, they ended up winning Club World Cup, and they obviously had some, a very good moment.
But generally I'm like, this seems It always, every single signing seems like financial irresponsibility, fi- feeling, financial recklessness.
It just feels like whoever Arsenal wants, they're willing to pay 20% more.
I mean, you're looking here, 14 goals, 12 assists and, 78 chances created.
He's a very good player, and you saw him shine in the World Cup.
Yeah.
A great cross to, for Anthony Gordon's goal.
Mm-hmm.
Absolutely incredible player.
Is he worth 117 million pounds?
It, it- Which is what?
Like 150, 160 it, it's, in dollars?
Oh, it's very much a, you know, he's the, Chelsea pay a tax so that you don't get him.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
Like, so that somebody else doesn't get him.
Like, 'cause the, the, every single time- Their scouting is just looking at Fabrizio Romano's thing, being like, "Who's, who's Arsenal trying to buy?"
And, and, and I do think there's a, a I mean, football's always sort of, been like this where players are gonna go for, you know, the money.
Like, I sometimes, you know, like SA would have gone to Tottenham if Arsenal didn't come, you know, didn't come calling.
But- Actually, it was the other way around.
He called Arsenal.
But anyway, go ahead.
So, but there's something to be said about, like I, I think at, at some point there, it's just they put a, a, a dollar, amount in front of you, and you're like, "Okay.
The, I, I Maybe Arsenal would be cool.
Maybe we could go, you know, maybe help them win another, Premier League title, maybe Champions League, but I cannot ignore this kind of, money."
But it also does seem to come with the, little bit of the chaos that is, Chelsea.
They're, they have a lot of money, but the money doesn't solve their problems.
Mm-hmm.
So the, the, that's why I'm like, every single time they're signing another, another kid, another per- young play- I'm like, they're, the money must be so good that you don't even care.
You're not wa- You're not looking at the news.
You're not seeing anything.
You're not asking even players that play there, "Yo, what is it like to play there?"
They're like, "No, no, no.
The money, I'll, I'll figure- Yeah I'll learn everybody's name when I get there."
Yeah, he actually said in the video, he said, "I wanted to join the biggest club in London."
Which is like, you mean the biggest pocket.
I don't even remember.
Right, right, right.
You got that, you got that money, you gonna spend it.
