Instead of you have the first four, you'd have the first 12, which they wouldn't call it the first 12.

They would call it the, quote, "opening round."

but it would be 12 games.

That's what they call the first four.

Yeah, yeah.

Put it pitting, pitting a lot of 15 and 16 seeds and w- a lot of 11 seeds and 12 seeds and 13 seeds, I believe, too, against one another.

And, yeah, most people, I think, did not, do not want that when they saw that.

Um- Most people retched violently when they saw that.

Yeah.

Yeah.

In regard to football.

Yeah, my, my, the responses to that are, are, it pretty clear.

It's kind of like the responses that we saw to honestly do the Big 10 2014 playoff.

Like, the, the general public 80% doesn't seem to want expansion of the NCAA tournament or too much of an expansion of the college football playoff bracket either.

Yeah, the, the 72 team tournament, the way that looked is, is ugh.

Ugh.

Barf.

And, and again, if you're gonna have play-ins, stop penalizing the teams that earned their way in by winning their conference tournament.

This is my basketball rant.

Play-ins should be mediocre power conference teams that we've heard of, and that's the only way they should be able to- Oh get in the tournament.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Yeah.

Totally agree.

Wait, wait, wait.

And it'll be half and half, right?

Like, it'll be half and- Hang on.

Hang on.

I got- It's half- Oh, no.

I don't want half and half.

I want all of those.

Yeah.

I just want all mediocre power conference teams.

But that's what it is right now, right?

The first four- Oh, it's 50/50 it's what it is right now.

And then if you had 12- Yeah it would be 12 games of- S Yeah, six and six of at large teams.

Yeah.

And it'll be 12 games of- So- of AQ or nine qualifier- Yeah I guess.

Right now it's 50- I think it, it's 50/50 right now.

Is that right?

Because the play-in games are Texas, North Carolina State- Yes Miami of Ohio, San Diego.

It would be the same.

And then a bunch of 16 seeds.

The idea is- Yes.

UMBC should be in the- Yeah in the real tournament.

And by the way- I define the real tournament as when you get to 64.

The idea they're talking about, like, yeah, right now you said, right, they have It's two games pitting bubble teams.

Right.

At large bubble teams.

And two games- Yeah pitting AQ, lower level, like conference AQ.

It would be four more at large bubble team games and four- Mm-hmm more AQ games, so six and six.

That's the- Please don't idea they're floating.

And they would be two played Tuesday and Wednesday, and they would create, I think, a second location probably in the western- part of the country.

Um- Boise.

Te- like you have Dayton, and then you'd have some other, you know, Portland or- Spokane whatever.

Tus- Ugh.

You know, whatever.

Yeah.

Phoenix or Spokane or whatever.

Ugh.

Yeah.

Please don't.

Please- This really is one of America's perfect sporting events, and they just are hell-bound and determined to mess with it.

Yeah.

It's unbelievable.

Don't, don't do it.

Don't do it.
