Chris Rodriguez, Jacksonville Jaguars running back.

He was with Washington the last few years.

Running back is really difficult because I think that there are probably I mean, if you did that exercise where you said like, "Oh, this guy can take a snap at quarterback," and it's, it's, you know, a deep group.

I feel like running back is, is, is just massive.

Like, there's gotta be a ton of guys here.

So I didn't wanna go, like, an average starter.

This is hard.

I wanted to go kind of like an average committee member, and I feel like that's- Yeah what Chris Rodriguez is.

You look at some of his advanced metrics last year, he actually is really good from, like, a success rate standpoint.

And he does have- Mm-hmm real defined strengths in his game, like around the goal line.

He's a very powerful, just like chain moving back.

But you know, when you're looking at him as necessarily like a pass catcher, not a lot going on there.

Probably not gonna play any passing downs in Jacksonville 'cause they have LaQuinn Allen, who's a great, pass blocker.

So yeah, he's kind of an, like who's your just, all right, this guy's a, an average early down hammer back.

Yep.

And if we gotta go through a big stretch or he's getting a lot of volume, we're, we'll probably feel pretty good about him.

And shoot, the Commanders were, like, actively trying to get him more and more work last year, and unfortunately, he dealt with some injuries, and I believe he's been dealing with an injury this off-season as well.

So hopefully he stays healthy 'cause I actually think he is in line for a nice little bit of opportunity here and has just enough skills, to really get rolling right now.

I actually, when you were talking about, oh, quarterbacks figuring this out, running back would've been really hard for me.

'Cause it's also, it's so hard to like 'Cause just like you said, there's so many valid guys out there.

You know, there actually there's some good amount of stars right now at running back, so it's really fun.

Yeah.

But there's just so many roles that you can fill.

So it's like, all right, do I want the average pass catching- Space back.

Right blocking running back?

Yeah.

Do I want the m- yeah, average hammerhead?

So I thought this was a perfect candidate for it
