Fans don't care about who gets rich: they just want to watch baseball

I don't give a crap whether the players make more money or the owners make more money.
Like, that is irrelevant to me, and I'm gonna say the same thing 1,000 times through the next couple months.
I don't care.
And like, I've had to say this to players before.
I don't know if you've ever had this conversation where like they're like complaining about some labor thing to you and you're like, "You're making 3.7, you're making $11.2 million."
Like, I don't care if you make $11.7 million.
I don't care if you're making a half million more.
I wanna watch baseball.
You know?
Mm-hmm.
I wanna watch baseball.
And so right now I'm at a point where I, maybe I'm entering this too cynically, but like all of the things that the sides are saying about making the game better, they can kinda like, they can keep that to themselves at least for now.
Because we know that's what, that's not what this is actually about for them
