He is considered day to day, according to notable truth teller, Sean McVeigh.
Uh, I say that with some sarcasm.
They are going to Europe to play the Jaguars in another international game this week.
Then they go on a bye.
I would expect Puka Niku to miss this game, uh, and then come back potentially after the bye.
Is that how you're viewing this year, Boone?
Yeah, I think at least missing this game, potentially more.
We'll keep an eye on it from there.
I know they're saying day to day, but like you said, they don't really have any reason to tell us the truth on this, and saying day to day at least makes your opponent have to perhaps prepare for Niku if they're not paying attention to things like we are, and they're not assuming that he's going to be out for this game.
And then you look at the other players like this moves Davante Adams up into probably the top.
5 receiver wise this week, and there's some interesting guys on this team, right, like Jordan Whittington, he saw more targets in this game, and remember he got an opportunity last year when they had some injuries.
He really came through at week 4 last year.
He had 8 targets, caught 6 for 62, week 5 last year, 7 for 89 on 10 targets.
He's not Puka, but he could do maybe a little bit of a Puka impression in this offense.
Tutu Atwell was also hurt this week, so we'll see if he's healthy or not.
He's more of like a field stretcher though.
He's that guy who needs the big play, so he's just more of like a risky flex type.
Tyler Higby, I mean, he even got back on the fantasy radar this week.
It was 4 for 40 and a touchdown, right?
So there's some other guys we could look to in this offense, but it's just such a bummer.
Like you see Pua emerge.
I think we both agree the wide receiver one overall on the season in all of our rankings.
The dynasty wide receiver one, I moved him up in my last dynasty chart update, yeah.
And now you got to look at this.
Hopefully it's not going to be long term.
Hopefully we don't have to change him in dynasty, but right now I would say JSN for me moves above him because of this injury and not being sure if it's going to affect him any longer than this or how long he could potentially be out even after the bye.
