I think last general W question I have for you, I want to ask, and this is a question I'm gonna ask Steve as well, moving forward.
Okay.
If you have to pick, if you have to pick an MVP candidate from the Fever, who would it be?
Kelsey.
It'd be Kelsey.
Okay.
Yeah.
Okay.
That's fair.
I've just been, I've floated this out to Steve earlier this year and it's like I've been kind of in a headlock with the trio of Kelsey plus Caitlin- Okay plus Aliyah.
With what Aliyah does on both ends of the floor, how important she is.
Caitlin obviously- Yeah like head of the snake, the play making, general box score excellence, and she has been electric as of late.
She has.
On top of this, like the three-point shooting is just there.
Yeah.
And then Kelsey Mitchell just has not stopped scoring at all, and if you look at some of the on/off data, like she has some of the, she has the better splits of the three.
So it's just like what do you prioritize?
Yeah, she's good.
And so, uh- Yeah I hope you don't, I hope you didn't take that as like a gotcha question or anything like that.
I think it's like genuinely fascinating when you have three talents that fit as well together as they do.
And as we've seen on the high end with this Fever group is they've been insane offensively.
It's a fun collection of talents.
I'm just like, the conversation's starting to heat up as we get to the second half of the year.
So I wanted to get your thoughts.
What's Steve's answer?
Steve, what is your answer?
Why not, why not both?
Why n- No.
I'll tell you why not both.
Because if you c- Yeah.
Ah, see?
He's, he's trying to get me.
He's, he's trying to get me.
I'm gonna indulge, though.
The answer can't be both because if there's- Fair.
I, I just generally, if you are not like surefire the best/most valuable player on your team, it's hard for me to get to like serious MVP conversation with you.
Like you kinda have to sort out the team part first.
You know what I mean?
So like for me, like it's, it's not a both if we're talking about MVP candidate.
If we're talking about all W, then sure, make the argument for all three.
Oh, yeah.
If we're talking about who the MVP candidate is, you kinda have to decide, okay, it is Caitlin because X, it is Kelsey because X, it is Aliyah because X. I don't wanna see two of them on the, in the top.
Like- Yeah you kinda have to be the one on your team for, for me
