Highlighting what the post-Caitlin Clark era has looked like at Iowa.
They are fresh off of a massive win over the number 12 Ohio State Buckeyes.
They now have three top 15 wins in a row.
For better or worse, Iowa is always going to be described as before Caitlin Clark and after, even though this is a very storied history, a very storied state, like, basketball is huge in Iowa.
This is a team that can do a little bit of everything.
They're passing up good looks for great ones.
21.3 assists per game has them third in D1.
That's up from last year and kind of in line with those Caitlin Clark-led teams, and they're shooting the ball well because they are getting good looks.
They're shooting almost 50%, seventh in D1, and they can shoot some threes when needed, too, about 37%, but it starts and ends with their work in the paint, and that has a lot to do with Hannah Stuelke, who's a senior now.
She played with Caitlin Clark, but also sophomore Ava Heiden.
They're overpowering opponents in the paint, and if you look at those wins and some of the losses to top opponents, the paint is what made the difference.
