Video Transcript
Capoco has broken his hand.
He took a slash during the Kraken's preseason game against the Oilers.
He is expected to miss six to eight weeks.
So, Caco was expected to be a top-six player.
Seattle.
He was going to play a significant role there.
Offense, uh, to start the season, So, Mike, now that hes out of the picture, At least for the next 6 to 8 weeks, who do you think has the best chance of stepping up for The Kraken and, contributing in his place, or is it going to be multiple players who must Do that?
Yeah, I think it's gonna have to be sort of Bullpen, bullpen by committee.
Sorry, it's, It's playoff time.
Um, but, yeah, I mean, it, its, you know, you could say a guy, Uh, like Ty Carter, who, um, and I always butcher his last name.
So, I apologize.
But, you know, he came in with a flourish.
A few years ago in the playoffs, but really hasn't produced much.
Big in the regular season, and he could step up, But I think it's gonna be the usual suspects.
Shane Wright, Mattie Beniers it's good, you know, they're gonna need everybody to just sort Step up a little to make up for the loss of Caco.
Who I think they were expecting to, uh, have a big year in Seattle.
Adam, what do you think?
Are you in agreement with Mike on that?
I think that Shane Wright is the big name to watch.
I think that giving him the opportunity is going to be massive.
Like hell, he'll get more minutes, he'll get more power-play time.
But I also think that this injury allows them, like we knew that Berkeley Canton was gonna get This opportunity, um, at the NHL level because Ron Francis said that was the plan, But I think that it goes from maybe a 2 or 3 game trial to like an 8-game trial with Berkeley, Canton.
Um, because of the Coco injury.
So, I mean, thats who Im really excited about.
I think that Berkeley K is going to be a, A star in the NHL one day, and why not start now?
Right?
