Will Keenan Allen impact Josh Downs’ fantasy value?

Keenan Allen has signed with the Indianapolis Colts.
He has a history with Shane Steichen with the aforementioned Los Angeles Chargers.
So we have to talk about this from a Keenan Allen perspective and a Josh Downs perspective, because right now I'm ranking Keenan about wide receiver 53, right next to Wan'Dale.
That makes sense to me.
But maybe more importantly and impactfully for the fantasy football content community, what does this do to, the beloved Josh Downs?
Well, I'm taking this serious.
Keenan Allen I thought was still an effective player last year.
I know you had some third down notes, and I just remember watching- Yes the Chargers.
He was like almost like boxing defenders out, like on third and sixes and then converting 'em 'cause he's super smart and he's still super tough and big.
So I'm taking him serious.
He's my wide receiver 59.
If you had drafted a bunch of rookies and a bunch of injured players and you wanted to move them up even higher than that just to, you know, steal some weeks early on, I'm totally with it.
I think that they're looking at this as a Michael Pittman replacement and not necessarily a slot replacement.
I think it's gonna be a real competition for Keenan and Josh Downs in two wide receiver sets.
I still think it will be Josh Downs long term, but that's a role that he has not graduated from, and I think that Keenan Allen can play that flanker underneath role that Michael Pittman had where he was like RPO slants.
Like, isn't that exactly kind of what Keenan Allen does- Yes at this point?
So I, I'm taking this serious.
I think the, the hard part about this offense is if Alec Pierce is gonna be out for a little bit, like where is the explosiveness?
Like Josh Downs, Tyler Warren, and Keenan Allen and Jonathan Taylor, like those are your top guys.
Like nobody runs further than 10 yards down the football field.
So we need Alec Pierce back in the mix for like this offense to feel potent.
But yeah, unfortunately, I had to move Josh Downs, down to a range where, I'm not sure if I'm gonna end up drafting him that much.
He's my wide receiver 44.
At one point, I'm, I had him inside my top 36.
Right.
I, I think there's just a lot of like cannibalization type, in the types of roles, and I'm, I'm not convinced that Josh Downs is now guaranteed for two wide receiver snaps.
