This sport, we're sitting here on week one talking about a playoff format expansion again because the leadership of this sport can't get their heads out of their asses and actually promote the product on the field.
And you wanna talk about the flaw of this or a w- a week, week one schedule, it is because a constant lack of central direction.
And here we are talking again about the sport instead of talking about the sport on week one.
It is September 3rd.
Well, 'cause, 'cause the sport on week one has a bunch of games with a 24-point spread, and that's not ideal.
The idea, Andy Le- let, let me push back on that, 'cause you know what's gonna happen this weekend, and I know what's gonna happen this weekend because you've covered this sport long enough.
Well, there's gonna be some crazy results, and we're gonna talk about that.
We whine and we moan.

And then it provides, and it does it in a way that may not satisfy this, this, this neo-Luddite need for the 30 helmets people recognize to bang into each other.
That's, that's what kills me- I love that he's in full hipster mode right now about this.
Like, like, it's like Boise- Full hipster it's like, it's like Boise State never happened.
It, it's like App State never beat Michigan.
You, like, there are people in this industry who wanna kill that with fire every chance they get because they think it's going to create a solution.
You know, you know who wants to kill that with fire?
You, you know why App State-Michigan can't happen for App State anymore?
'Cause App State went to the Sun Belt instead of staying in the FCS where they were dominant.
So a Sun Belt team can't beat an F- They ch- Are you saying that they can't beat a power team?

I'm saying they chose this life.

You mean an FCS team can't- We keep complaining about the lot of the G6 teams, yet all of these FCS teams keep trying to become them.

Why is everybody trying to get into it?
Nobody's trying to be mean to it.
They just want a fair shake, and they're never gonna get it.
