I have to say Quinshon Judkins.
I think he was the best rookie runner in the NFL last year.
He should be even better as a runner this year after improved offensive line investments.
But, simply but, I'm nervous about the Browns scoring enough points.
And like- You are?
Most importantly, I'm nervous about the Browns scoring, points and then having their defense prevent the other team from scoring points.
Like, the defense last year kept them in games that they should not have been competitive in, and won them games- Mm-hmm that they should not have won.
Right now, the Browns are only favored in two contests, okay?
Last year's defense with, you know, a guy named Myles Garrett who set the NFL sack record, a part of that squad, they kept the Bengals to 17 points, the Packers to 10, the Dolphins to six, the Raiders to 10, the Steelers to six, and the Bengals to 18 last year.
So they created environments where Quinshon Judkins, could have a higher share and a higher volume of touches than I think he probably will have this season, even if this year's environment of Todd Monken and offensive line investments should be, again, a better situation for him to run.
Yeah.
He was the RB23 on RB17 usage as a rookie, so he was not efficient even though the tape was telling me this guy's awesome at football.
And there were some crazy splits.
He had 14 fantasy points, per game the two games with Flacco.
But with Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel, that was at 9.5 and 11.7.
So, like, when they had, like, some semblance of normal quarterback play, he was fine at this price.
And then in the other games he was not.
So I wish that he, you know, catches the ball maybe a little bit more, but that's what Dylan Sampson's good at.
He's gonna ha- have all the goal line carries.
It's just a matter of how many goal line carries it is.
And I think it's a really good point about the defense where, if they're, like, average on defense this year, which I think is the most likely outcome, like, this team is not gonna be able to run the ball in the fourth quarter.
Um- Yeah it makes me nervous.
