Manchester City, this is their ins and outs.
Right?
Because they're going through a major transition now with Pep Guardiola leaving, Enzo Maresca coming in.
Let's take a look at some of the signings that they've brought in and some of the players that they've, they've sent away.
These are, some, you know, big names.
B- Elliot Anderson in particular is, pretty valuable.
I forget what, the transfer- 100 and- 115 million pounds, so just under, what Chelsea was willing to pay for Morgan Rogers.
Mm-hmm.
Matheus de Torre comes from, Twa.
A very, very good player.
And obviously Jeremy Munga was a player that a lot of people wanted- off of Leicester.
These are the players that are going out, though, and I don't know if you notice a difference in the, in the, the names.
Bernardo Silva, John Stones, and Nathan Ak, these are players that have won- Older.
Older they've won Champions League.
Older.
Little bit older.
Nathan Ak's not that old, but, uh- Yes, he is.
He's, I think he's 30.
You know, these are, these are winners that are leaving, and incoming you got Elliot Anderson, who I think we can all agree is a great player.
Is he worth 115?
We'll see.
Jeremy Munga and de Torre, who I think is, we're left to find out whether he would be much of a starter.
Interesting.
Not, not your typical I mean, they did a lot of business in January as well, bringing in Grealish and, and, and- Yeah Kerke, but, and Semenyo as well.
I think he came in, right?
Yeah, yeah.
Still not the type of names you would associate generally with, with a, a Manchester City, and it ma- it leaves me wondering, like, I wonder if, how's Erling Haaland feeling about where the project is right now?
Yeah, I mean, look, the margins for, success, are really small, right?
I mean, they weren't that far back, in finishing in second place.
They ended up winning two trophies.
They, they didn't have a bad season by any, by any means, but by Manchester City's standards, yeah, they wanna win the title and they wanna win Champions League, like every, competition that, that they're in.
Injuries are kind of sort of my only con- Ak and Stones have missed, a fair amount of time- Mm-hmm just due to injury, so fitness is kind of the only thing I kind of think about, and I think that's probably a, one of the factors as to why they are, City's letting them go.
But, but the, the, what, we won't know until, Manchester City play a few games and, and what they're like under Enzo Maresca.
For the last decade we haven't seen a Manchester City without Pep Guardiola, so it's going to be- Yeah like, a, a, kind of the, that adjustment where I'm, I'm curious to see what it's gonna look like.
