...do you think we're in the middle of the apex of the turn, where the US becomes much more of a real football country?
I'm not sure.
I, I, I would hope so, because I think- I mean, what I do think is that it comes in little stages, and when I think about '94 and where the US was as a football country, very different stage of development.
One of my jobs was to create interest in the community and amongst the media, and it was a much harder dig back then because you were dealing, you know, with media people who were often very hostile to the sport.
But, that has changed, you know, so it's definitely moved on, and I think it moves on with each generation.
We'll know a lot more after the tournament in terms of what the interest is.
But I think certainly it stands to reason that it's going to be bigger than ever, and having it, you know, in American cities, in Canadian cities, in Mexican cities, it's gonna make it feel more real to, to people who maybe, haven't had quite the interest when it's been in, in faraway countries.
