Our office conducted a massive nationwide takedown from 2 indictments of 34 defendants for their alleged involvement in two separate illegal poker and sports betting schemes where, as you heard, the odds were rigged in their favor.

Last month, the NCAA banned 3 men's college basketball players for sports betting, saying they had bet on their own games at Fresno State and San Jose State and were able to share thousands of dollars in payouts.

This new rule still states that betting on college sports remains off limits, as does sharing inside information about college competitions.

But betting on pro sports is fair game.
