Should the QB be your last starter pick in fantasy?

So everything here in my mind is tying together.
We talked about the early running backs, we talked about hitting tight ends, either with the elite guys or kind of those, you know, discounts that you're getting in the middle rounds.
We talked about how good the receivers are in those kind of middle rounds or so.
We know late round quarterback is a good strategy, and it's been a good strategy for a long time.
The last few seasons, I've been a little more willing to go with elite quarterbacks.
They were offering quite the advantage.
But this year when you look at it, there are so many good quarterbacks that are gonna have a chance to be inside the top 12.
So for me, this isn't late round quarterback, this is just make quarterback the last starter that you draft.
Like it.
You can address your entire starting lineup and then come back to quarterback.
And because there's so many good ones, we see some names fall, right?
And guys like, I've been taking, you know, Dak Prescott, Trevor Lawrence, Brock Purdy.
Sometimes you even get like a Jalen Hurts I've seen fall into like the seventh or so.
You can get them.
If you wanna go later than that, by all means pair a Jared Goff with Malik Willis or Jordan Love, who I know you think has a chance to have a, a great season this year.
There's a lot of options, and it just means you don't have to have any pressure on yourself to take a quarterback.
You can go all the way through your draft and just wait till one of those guys falls a bit lower than ADP to a value you like- and grab them there, and make sure the rest of your starting lineup is locked in.

I- I mean, I just My respect for you is so high that I actually wanna ask you a follow-up question- Let's do it to hear more of your great analysis.
Which early quarterback tempts you the most to break this rule?
Good question, Matt.
Honestly- Don't start with me, Josh Lamar Jackson.
Oh, okay.
Because Lamar Jackson, at his best, can outscore Josh Allen where Josh Allen's going, and yet he's going a couple rounds normally after him.
So Lamar Jackson to me, with a, a new coordinator, this offense could be very exciting.
Last year he was hurt, and it lowered his stats.
He could get right back to having that elite kind of production that wins fantasy leagues.
So he's someone that I think goes at a value where it's okay, it's- Yeah decent, and yet there's so many other talented players at the other positions like receiver that I'd just rather get them there.
I love Yahoo drafters.
I think they're out of their freaking mind, to take Josh Allen with the eighth ov- overall pick in the second round.
Like that Like here's- Yeah here's some 2 v 2 way of looking at it in terms of strategy, right?
Would you rather have Nico Collins and Dak Prescott on your roster or Josh Allen and Courtland Sutton?
Because both of those guys are second round and seventh round picks, right?
Here's another one.
Right after Josh Allen, Brock Bowers goes.
Would you rather have a Brock Bowers and Bo Nix team or a Josh Allen and Travis Kelce team?
Like it, it is so obvious to me that in those round two and nine combos, I would just rather wait on the quarterback because you are really punting I think so much leverage in either your number one wide receiver or your number one tight end or maybe your number one running back just to, you know, take the first quarterback off the board.
And it's tempting to take those names.
Oh, yeah.
To take those elite quarterbacks.
It definitely is.
But I just recommend to anyone out there, go do some mock drafts and look at your rosters at the end.
Yes.
When you wait on quarterback, you'll be much, much happier.
