I think the Panthers kind of sum up this whole NFL season.

I mean, just think about the past few weeks.

Go on the road to Lambeau Field, and beat the Packers.

You're like, whoa!

Here are the Panthers.

Come home, lose to the Saints at home.

0-17, 7 If I remember the score right, you're like, uh, they go to Atlanta and Bryce, Like you said, there's a 400-something yard, You're like, Whoa, here come the Panthers!

If you watched that Monday night game The Forty-Niners, you had to think, this Panthers team is one of the worst teams.

NFL.

They were awful in that game, absolutely awful.

So, what did they do for an encore?

They came home and beat the Rams.

Like, what sense can you make of this?

They got picked off 33 times.

Come on.

Worst team in the NFL, and they lost.

Got blown out, picked off 33 times in the first half.

They were terrible in that gameabsolutely incompetent.

And I was like, Oh, this Panthers team is just falling by the wayside.

And then they come back and beat the Rams.

Like, how do you?

How do you reconcile all of this?

The team that lost at home to the Saints wins The Rams at home?

Like, I dont get it.

I'll say this: given that this NFL season is so topsy-turvy, as somebody who spends hours Every Monday, ranking football teams.

I'm keeping the Rams at No.

1 because when you start looking down the list, Every team has had a bad performance or looked bad at times.

Or you just have questions about them.

You think about the Seahawks having a real Good argument to be the No.

1 team in football.

That team lost to the Rams two weeks ago, so, OK, that, That happened; that matters.

The Broncos couldn't put away Marcus Mariota and the Commanders on Sunday night.

They did win, Nick Bonito, very good play, but you're, Like, every week we're sitting here, like, Broncos are good.

But, uh, if you look at the Patriots' great record, it's the easiest schedule in football.

The Packers have had their tough losses, including the Panthers at home.

I mean, you just go on and on down the list, and you say, Well, everybody's had bad performances.

The Rams at least have had some good performances to go along with it, Where you do say, "Yeah, this looks like the best team in football because Stafford's in it" MVP level.

Their receivers are unbelievable.

Defense is really well done.

McVeigh is a genius.

So I, I kept the Rams number one, but really thinking like, This is the most wide-open view.

I can remember it where Im just like, There's no favorite team.

There's no team I'd pick right now.

Win the Super Bowl with any confidence whatsoever.
