We're gonna roll with what we have"?

I think they're too far committed.

Aaron Rodgers shows up on July 22nd, it's like, okay, well, we gotta do it.

Like, we're- So you're gonna give him a, a full six weeks after mandatory veteran mini camp.

I don't love it.

This is a very important time for some of these things, and I think one of the things is the Steelers, they have to figure out who's our starting quarterback at opening day?

They do have three guys.

Mason Rudolph's the one with the experience, and then Will Howard's the one they talked up for a little bit in the off season.

Drew Aller comes in with the far higher draft capital.

So they gotta get a look at all three of these guys.

What do you tell Cam Hayward?

What do you tell TJ Watt?

If Aaron doesn't show up, what do you tell those guys?

Because you are built to win-ish.

I don't think it's that tough of a sell to go to Cam Hayward, sit him down, and go, "Look, who gives you a better shot, Aaron Rodgers or Mason Rudolph?

As Frank said, you committed to this."

And the problem was when you committed to it past free agency, and then you committed to it past the draft, there's no other option on the table unless you're gonna do something wild
