Will Terry McLaurin get back to being 'scary' good in fantasy this season?

Well, I get the concern about him and why his ADP might be a little lower than what we saw a couple years ago.
you know, it's his age 31 season.
He's coming off the lowest output of his career.
It was just a bad year, and recency bias- Mm-hmm that's what's in people's minds.
But it was really just a bad year across the board for the Commanders, right?
Jayden Daniels was hurt a bunch of the year.
McLaurin had the contract issue that he goes out and he misses seven games.
It just was all around bad.
But everything's looking up in my mind now, right?
He doesn't have a ton of target competition there.
I really like Antonio Williams.
I really like Chigokonkwo.
These guys are more like sleepers for redraft.
These aren't proven commodities.
We have Deebo Samuel.
He's out of the picture now.
We have Zach Ertz.
He's out of the picture now.
We have a new offense there that I think is gonna be really exciting.

I know a lot of new coaches come in and say that sort of thing and it doesn't happen, but we've also seen this happen on a bunch of teams now, and we know the NFL's a copycat league.
I think there's no reason why they wouldn't do this.
Makes complete sense to me.
And if you look back, we're just one year removed from 87 catches, over 1,100 yards, and 4 scores.
He was the wide receiver 14 in fantasy points per game in that first year with Jayden Daniels when Daniels broke onto the scene as a rookie.
So I think we have a lot of things pointing in the right direction here, Harmon, for McLaurin to go from being drafted as a, a fringe low-end wide receiver two to potentially putting himself back in the conversation as a wide receiver one.
The only reason he fell back last year, I, I would agree is, is it obviously his injuries, Jayden Daniels' injuries, but also just like it was going to be a down year for Terry McLaurin 'cause it-- he's one of these contract holdouts.
Like we've just seen this now at the wide receiver position.
There's just these guys who m- th-this happens, which by the way, we talked about George Pickens.
It's at least I guess worth, you know, considering like is he gonna be one of these guys too?
Yeah.

It, it's, it's problematic, Boone.
So my, my only I wanna keep talking about Terry McLaurin.
My only question is just like do you think he might be too good, to be included here?
I, I will accept that.
There are four guys left that I think deserve to be finalists.
We're only picking three of them, so if you wanna veto this one, I will allow it.
But kinda like Ladd McConkie, we could walk away from this one saying that, you know, at the round 4-5 turn for McLaurin right now and what he could potentially be in this offense this year, another slam dunk pick, another guy that everyone should be targeting for fantasy.
And where you're getting him, he doesn't have to be your wide receiver one.
You're getting him as your wide receiver two, your wide receiver three, in that range, and he's the kinda guy that I think could swing your season if he has another year like he did two years ago, and that's what I'm projecting for him this year.
