Where are you on the impact of Tyrese Haliburton and what we can expect to see from the Indiana Pacers next year?
Yeah, I'm extremely high on Tyrese Haliburton and the prospective influence we can have there.
I mean, like, th- there are relatively few teams in the NBA where everything that they wanna be and do emanates from one person to the degree that it does for the Pacers and Tyrese Haliburton, right?
Like, when, from when he got there, the, I think it was the 2022 trade deadline, and the deal from Sacramento, the just, the style completely shifted.
Rick Carlisle tossed him the keys to the offense and said, "We're gonna go the way you wanna go.
I'm gonna trust you.
I'm not gonna be calling plays from the sidelines over and over again."
and they basically instantly became a comple- a high speed, high ball movement, low turnover, high offensive efficiency team.
The two healthy seasons that he had after that, Eastern Conference Finals, NBA Finals, and then last year, of course, he's not there and the entire bottom drops out
