Even though Scottie has been playing fantastic golf right now, he's not on an upward trend, right?

And how do you say the number one player in the world is He's not, he's also not on a downward trend.

So it's like, is third and fourth place, h- are those finishes where you're like, "Oh, it was terrible."

No, it wasn't terrible, it just isn't a win.

And this is how s- two things.

One, golf is cyclical like that.

It's very And we've seen it in the past.

Now Scottie's going on a long run where he looked unbeatable, and now he's going like, He looks a little bit, not beatable, but he's not winning like he was, and other guys are starting to step up.

And if you remember in, like, in 2015, didn't, didn't everybody say Jordan Spieth was never gonna lose again?

Remember he started losing?

Remember Jason Day went on a run?

Remember Dustin Johnson went on a run?

Rory's going on a run.

All of these top name guys have gone on runs.

Like, Jordan Spieth had a chance to com- complete the career Grand Slam at the PGA Championship, and he'll have another opportunity to do that again.

Scottie is definitely a different animal, so you would think it might be, easier is a bad word, but it might be more feasible for him to get it done quicker than what Just remember how long it took Rory.

Like, just And it was, that was the Masters, and that's the one where you can almost hit it all over the place.

Your putter just needs to be really hot, you know?

And, you know, do you remember how Rory, what it took for him and then the, the absolute guttural scream that came after the fact when he fell down, like, it, and was on the green, and it took a playoff.

So as, as amazing as, as great as Scottie Scheffler is, and he is right now the greatest compartmentalizer of life and golf in the world right now, i- is when it comes to golf.

But that's still gonna be someone, there's that little guy sitting right here who's still in the back of your head or looking in your, whispering in your ear, "You know what this is gonna mean.

Don't act like you don't know."

Because the historic nature of this there, we're s- still not two hands full on how many guys have done it, right?

We ain't got to the feet yet.

S- I think that tells you something of what an accomplishment this would be.

So as, as great as Scottie is, and is compartmentalizing, "Hey, it's just golf and I'm just playing this next shot that's in front of me," and he is the best at do- at doing stuff like that.

But because of what this means historic-wise, yeah.

And Phil's gonna be one of those guys who's got three and not four.
