Victor Wembanyama is exactly what the NBA needs, a guy who is appointment viewing for anyone.
I don't care if you like the NBA, when you have that guy on your screen moving the way he does, shooting the way he does, dribbling the way he does, blocking shots the way he does, altering shots where every time they wanna get into the paint, they get scared.
They either throw it up high off the glass and it falls off the front of the rim, or they just do a business decision and leave it.
And the way that Victor Wembanyama cares, cares about winning, is the antithesis of the reputation of the league, that these guys, all they care about is getting their money.
They're gonna take these DNP rests and the load management era.
The, the casual fan is what the NBA needs to bring back, and Victor Wembanyama is that guy.
Because he's a good villain as, as a guy who's coming in, not raised in, in America in the AAU system.
Who is this guy that I have to watch a French, a French Pro League, feed in the NBA app a few years ago to, like, who is this guy?
And then he comes in and takes over the NBA in ways that I can't remember a guy, third year in the league, the best This isn't Magic Johnson on the Lakers going to the NBA finals in his rookie season and doing an amazing job.
This is the best player, head and shoulders, the best player on the team, who's in his first playoff run getting to the NBA finals.
