Victor Wembanyama, Spurs bounce back to force WCF Game 7 with Thunder

We start with the San Antonio Spurs absolutely shellacking the Oklahoma City Thunder.
It was just a beat down yet again.
We've had a lot of blowouts.
I'm gonna be honest, Caroline, for a series that we thought was just gonna be epic, incredible, oh my God, can't wait to see these two teams, a lot of these games have felt like blowouts by midway through the third quarter.
This was one of them.
If you tuned into the fourth quarter, you didn't even see Wemby or SGA play.
118-91, this was a slaughter that just got worse and worse in the second half that was some of the worst basketball I've ever seen Oklahoma City play.
I mean, the battles may have been blowouts, and the battles may have been boring late in the fourth quarter, but the war, oh, the war is good.
Overall as a series, this series has been great because it's been filled from so many peaks and valleys from both of these teams.
I mean, I was asking myself at portions of last night's game, like, did OKC forget how to basketball?
Like, did everybody, like, forget their Wheaties this morning?
Because it wasn't just how good San Antonio looked yesterday, because that is a big part of this, and I'm discounting the defensive effort that we saw from the Spurs last night because that's a huge part of the story, but OKC just straight up looked bad.
And one thing that I think I have learned about Victor Wembanyama throughout the course of this series is that he is a living, eating, breathing Michael Jordan "and I took that personally" meme.
Because in game one, when SGA received his MVP trophy, Wemby took that personally.
And in game five, when Wemby was stinky, like let's be honest, Wemby had a bad game.
He took, what, one shot in the first quarter?
He took that personally and he hit two threes in the first minute and a half.
You see it right there, 28 points and 10 rebounds in just 28 minutes.
Like you mentioned, Fitzy, he was b- on the bench for the entirety of the fourth quarter.
This entire Spurs team took that game five personally, that they got so much production off the bench.
Shooting, they were fantastic.
15 of 41 from three.
It felt like they were shot out of a cannon.
They never even trailed in that game last night.
The building was rocking.
You could tell that they were total and complete goldfish after game five.
You could tell that they knew how high the stakes were.
They played like they had a trip to a championship on the line
