Is De’Von Achane’s fantasy outlook dropping?

I mean- Ooh I'm, I'm b- I, I'm kind of just fine with where Achane goes.

He is the 18th overall player in Yahoo drafts this week.

Excuse me, 18th overall in my rankings, 17th in Yahoo drafts this week.

So I'm kind of fine where he goes.

I'm not saying fade him in the second round.

He's just somebody more like- Yeah I'll let the board dictate it to me as opposed to going over, over the, over the, the skis for him.

Yeah, so last year, Devon Achane was my favorite round two pick.

Like, I, I loved him.

Relentlessly drafting him.

So it hurts for me to have him 18th overall, even if it's right in line with ADP, because I actually think he is one of the more unheralded superstars in the league.

Like, people view him as maybe just a out in space speed back.

But you watch the Dolphins, and he is breaking and running between the tackles at a high, high rate.

My thing comes down to Malik Willis.

Like, Malik Willis had the highest scramble rate in the league when he was with the Green Bay Packers.

He only targeted running backs 10% of the time with the Green Bay Packers.

We know Devon Achane was fourth in targets per game last year and fourth in receiving yards per game, in a Mike McDaniel offense, a Mike McDaniel offense that has done fantastic work with running backs over the last three or four years.

So as much as I love Achane as an individual talent, I do think that this environment is different.

Even if the offensive line has improved, I think being attached to, you know, Bobby Slowik and, Malik Willis, who I like as a fantasy pick, but I just don't know from a receiving standpoint if he's gonna be friendly here to Devon Achane, 'cause that is a significant part of Achane's value for me.

Yeah.

And just the Tua part of this can't be He's going from the polar extreme here of- Correct a guy that was so checkdown sensitive and so checkdown heavy to Malik Willis, who likely, when they get into those fourth quarter trailing situations, is just gonna take off running.

Now I, I, again, I think there's a lot of appeal to Achane overall as-
