Inter Miami are winless in their new stadium.
Is their stadium cursed?
How do you have Messi on your team and give up a three-goal lead against your rival?
We figure out who to blame and how they should fix this.
But, like, obviously Miami need help, so we have to figure out who could they possibly bring in that can offer some help, and I can't imagine it's gonna be an offensive player.
No, no, they need defensive help, yesterday.
Yeah.
I Mean, for me, because I mentioned the manager, I think it That's the first thing.
They have to sort out who's gonna manage this club.
There is a, there is a coach available that might be I, I don't know if he necessarily fits the style, but, he has a lot of suc- success in Major League Soccer.
Currently looking for work.
Wilfried Nancy.
Oh.
I mean, I don't think it's crazy.
I think he would bring in a, a very different playing style and, and, and ask a little bit more of, of, of, of the fullbacks especially.
I mean, we're seeing it here, obviously.
A very successful coach.
MLS Cup winner in 20 thir- 2023, Leagues Cup winner in 2024.
Amassed a pretty good record of 71 wins, 32 draws, 34 losses.
and also just someone that I think represents what the best of MLS coaching looks like and feels like.
Sure.
Someone who has a system, has a- And modern put- a methodology- And, and pushing the league forward.
Busquets also understood where to go and how to find space, but he was also willing to absolutely clear out anybody getting in his zone.
Mm-hmm.
He was a bit of a destroyer.
Probably not the person you think of as a destroyer, but he had that ability as well, and I think we saw some of that, sure, in a slower pace and older age.
We saw that when he got to Inter Miami.
How do you replace that?
Can you replace that with someone who has shown the ability to potentially score goals, the ability to make some good passes or at least go forward, but also the ability to really protect that back line?
And I think you have to weigh it out more.
You have to really protect the back line a lot more than, "I need you to be able to go forward," but that it still has to be part of your game.
I don't know that you're gonna be able to find that in MLS, but I do think there's a guy playing at Manchester United right now- who's having a pretty great season, but he's probably worn out his welcome, if not reached the age where you probably wanna move on from him in the Premier League, which I think is perfect for Inter Miami, and that's Casemiro.
Casemiro, I think, represents a player that, especially with the year he's having this year If he was having the year he had last season, I may not be saying this, but the season he's having this year shows me that he's more than capable of handling the athleticism that we have in this league.
